When I first thought about the Kaplan keynote, my reaction was that he was trying to defend the validity of something that had become obsolete. When he said that MySpace can&#039;t be a label because of the lack of filtering, it seemed that he was ignoring the filtering done by the users of a community. But this idea of labels acting as post-filtering makes sense, particularly if they can as you said find a way to make some money off little snippets of the long tail.</description>
